ISLT 9475, Diffusion of Educational Innovations

ISLT 9475 Diffusion of Educational Innovations expanded upon my previous studies that led to a graduate certificate in knowledge management this summer. Many variables impact the diffusion of new technology among individuals and within organizations. It is important to recognize the uncertainty of adoption of new technologies. In addition, an understanding of opinion leadership, change agents, and the theoretical models of diffusion process is important to facilitate successful adoption of technology in educational settings. This course reviewed the Concerns Based Adoption Model (CBAM) as a practical process to analyze the adoption of a specific innovation.
